Our standard mounting for roller skates Our standard mounting complies with general recommendations: For dance, heel flush / indented at front ( 7-15 ). This applies to STD plates as well as to Avenger from Suregrip. For plates where stability is the primary concern, we mount the longest possible plate. However, you can choose your preferred frame size in the configurator - if you order directly from us via customercare@wifa.at, please let us know in writing if you would like a mounting that differs from our guidelines.

For children's sizes 30 to 33, we rather mount "end-to-end" (heel flush - indented as little as possible at the front) so that the plates can be used for the next boot size. The plates are mounted in the centre of the heel, slightly offset outwards at the ball of the foot (see fig. 1). We do NOT use the centre seam of the boot as alignment point, as it does not represent the centre of the foot.
