WIFA ICE SKATES MODELS GUIDE
Our recommendations are based on data we have collected from our test skaters in recent years. Children between the ages of 3 and 6 start their first courses during the winter season (2 to 4 hours per week). Then they start training for the first skating classes (4 to 8 hours per week). And finally, they prepare for the first competitions (over 10 hours a week).
As a guideline for the right choice of model, we divide the models into 3 main categories:
1. First courses & leisure skating
2 TO 4 HOURS PER WEEK
*Mark II and Flight are basically equivalent.
Mark II is spot-welded - therefore somewhat less resilient than Flight. For skaters who also do single jumps, we recommend taking Flight for safety above a body weight of 60kg (132,27lbs).
2. Advanced hobby skaters up to first competitions
4 TO 8 HOURS PER WEEK
