The WIFA skate model guide is based on data from our European test skaters (age,
performance level, weight, training hours, skating style).
Hardness levels of the models
Since WIFA boots are made of leather, they actually are to be considered a class of their
own. The properties of leather are different from plastic, the leather does not break, it
slowly softens. The degree of hardness given for the models is therefore primarily for
orientation when comparing them with models from other brands.
